My name is Bernadette Serrano,I made this blog to share my passion about Travelling,I wanted you guys to see what’s in stored in other countries that i have been to,Travelling is one of my favorite thing to do specially when i’m with my family,i also wanted you guys to see what it’s like to be able to explore some of the countries,learn their language,And to embrace their culture,You can also find out what are the exotic foods that we have tasted,and the places that we have visited! When you explore an unfamiliar place, you begin to see a different way of doing, a different way of thinking, a different way of living.
HONGKONG-MACAU
Our Idea about travelling started in 2011 when my parents decided to take us to hongkong in order for us to see what is the life in other countries and how it feels like,me and my 2 older sisters were so lucky and grateful to spend our summer vacation in hongkong.We ate ducks on the street,we also tried different types of drinks,My parents also took us to disney land which i was very thankful for before,because every kid in my age is really wants to explore and have fun in Disney Land,Going inside the theme park was so soooo fun!i also met my favorite disney characters and took pictures with them.
After going to Hongkong they have decided to take a cruise then go straight to macau,I was very amazed by the structures that macau has,the half church that they have was stuck in my head because it was very unique,There was a lot of vendors selling beef jerky beside the church,and i am telling you it was so GOOODDDD!Aghh…i feel like i wanted to go back there just to buy that beef jerky,we also went to vinitian where the “Boys Over Flowers” Casts shoot some of the scenes that they have in that movie.
SINGAPORE-MALAYSIA
In 2013 we went to singapore!!The people that we’ve met was so friendly,they gave us a warm welcome when we have arrived,We stayed at the famous Marina Bay Sands that is facing the lion that bursts water in his mouth,theres a lot of people surrounding that lion because it’s one of the most famous spot in singapore,We also went to universal studios and rode a lot of roller coasters i was very afraid at first but when i tried it the second time it was just fine with me.We ate popcorn while waiting for the night fire works display starts,I was amazed by how they constructed the show it was so magical,i can’t believe my eyes that im seeing those kind of fireworks display.
After going to singapore for a few weeks,we decided to go straight to malaysia,we arrived there at night and i’m telling you it was so sketchy in the place that we have arrived,it was so dark,i remembered us walking at the side of the road looking for a vehicle that can take us to our hotel,but all of us was so scared to take the taxi because all of the drivers are looking at us aggressively and wanted us to pay so much higher than the regular price,so we decided to ask the police if they can take us to our place in order for us to be safe,so we entered their police car.while we are crossing the street there was a group of police men that is behind the check point,me and my sisters were so scared of what’s happening because it was so dark and we cant really see the other people that are passing through,after we pass the checkpoint we felt very fine because we found out that we are all safe in their hands.the next day we visited Lego Land,It was so crazy that we are able to see our small toys turn into big buildings that they have created using legos,i can tell that my family are also amazed by the structures that is around the theme park.
CAMBODIA
In 2018 my oldest sister decided to take us to cambodia to have a relaxing time after a long week of finishing our requirements in our school,me and my second sister was very happy and thankful that we can relax and spend our time in cambodia while waiting for our final grades to release,There’s a lot of exotic foods in cambodia like the one that we ate in the night market,like crocodiles,ostrich,sharks,and other meats,there was also a very nice soup that they gave us after we ate our meat that we ordered,After eating we decided to stroll night market and to look for more exotic food,i saw a lady selling bugs and other animals on a stick,their are a lot of options like scorpion,snakes,bugs like lots of bugs inside a container,we were grossed out after we saw all of it but we begun to feel okay with it after seeing other tourists enjoying those exotic foods,we spent half our stay to just eat,stroll and have a massage at night.
TAIWAN
2018 My sister also planned another trip for us,she also paid for half of our expenses in Taiwan,The city was very amazing overall,they have a connecting subway below the ground in order for passengers to have an easy and fast trip.There’s a lot of milk tea a place that you can find,i think taiwan is very famous for their delicious milk teas.We also went to taipei 101 the very famous building in taiwan,which visitors can go up and enjoy the whole view above the ground,the next day we went to Geopark,it was so hot we aren’t able to take lots of photos because its so hot they didn’t provided as much roof as the visitors needed,but we understand that because its a park it doesn’t have to have roofs that much,its was surrounded by a huge rocks all over the place they called it mushroom rock because of its shape.
U.S
Jan 28,2019 My parents decided to take us to U.S,because my sister is currently working in newyork.After 1 day spending time in LA we flew straight to newyork.We saw my sisters working place with her co-workers which is also filipinos,their place was so nice and there are heaters all over the place because its so cold out,We bundled our selves up and bought heat pads,just to survive the cold.As we go further we can all see the famous places in newyork like brooklyn,bronx,we strolled at times square,statue of liberty and other more famous sites.After a week of staying in new york,we flew to chicago to take pictures then go back straight to LA,California is really a great place to stay because of the nice weather and the palm trees that surrounds the city.
